RATMAudioslaveJunky Says:

Jul 19, 2010 - Bruins need more guys like PJ Stock. Shawn Thornton just aint cuttin it. Stock would've made Cooke leave the ice on a stretcher after the Savard hit. Thornton just fought him a couple weeks later,

balzac1x Says:

Jul 30, 2010 - @RATMAudioslaveJunky Wait for the start of the season, Cooke is a deadman now that nothing's on the line.

owenboen67 Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - @limsniff but not all the staged shit. that kind of pisses me off

owenboen67 Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - i didn't even know P.J Stock played in the NHL

limsniff Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - @owenboen67 True, that's bad. Emotions should be involved, two ready to go at it and hammer away at each other. Two willing combattens .. don't know how to spell. sorry.

owenboen67 Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - @limsniff lol whatever. and yeah i agree...i don't like people with no hockey skill being in the NHL(Boogard for example)

limsniff Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - @owenboen67 Exactly!!! Now that there is less fighting the teams need players that can score and contribute on offense and not skate around looking like Goliath or King Kong. There are many examples of fantastic enforcers through history, David James "Tiger" Williams, Bob Probert (R.I.P) are at least two examples, they sure could score. Then of course there is Wendel Clark, Bob Nystrom, well, maybe they weren't enforcers but they stood up for them selves and they are true legends.

owenboen67 Says:

Aug 9, 2010 - @limsniff Yeah back in like the 60s and 70s, the toughest guys were the best players. Of course you had the guys like you mentioned, and I will say what the Broad Street Bullies did was kind of worse than having enforcers. But anyways, you look at the toughest guys back then, Tiger Williams, would pot 30, Gordie Howe, would get 50, Maurice Richard it just keeps going on. Nobody played 5 minutes a night to throw a couple hits and get in a fight

gtrefghuk Says:
