There are many examples of fantastic enforcers through history, David James "Tiger" Williams, Bob Probert (R.I.P) are at least two examples, they sure could score. Then of course there is Wendel Clark, Bob Nystrom, well, maybe they weren't enforcers but they stood up for them selves and they are true legends.

Of course you had the guys like you mentioned, and I will say what the Broad Street Bullies did was kind of worse than having enforcers.
