Private Label Rights to Video Site Builder?
I need some feedback. I am considering selling the private label rights to my video site builder, the VideoClipMinisites script. I would like some feedback on what you think I should ask for the private label rights.
Here is what I’m thinking of offering.
This PLR sale would include the sales page, the source code, and the Lite version of the script. I would ask you to rename your product and get your own graphics. You would be responsible for supporting the script, but I would be available if you had a problem you couldn’t figure out.
The number of copies I would sale would be limited to 50-100, with the price being higher if I sold 50 to lower if I sold 100.
You would have complete PLR rights, meaning you could do anything you wanted with the script, except sell the PLR to the script yourself. I would do this to protect the buyers of the script. I would also ask that you sale the script for at least $27 for at least 6 months to protect all PLR owners.
Here are some of the things you could do with the script:
Sale the script as is, add more features to the script and sell it, add more templates to the script and sell it, create a service to build video sites for people who don’t have any technical know how – I’m sure you can think of a lot more you could do with the script.
This would be the first, and probably last time I would sale the PLR to the script.
My VCMS script is unique in that it is the lowest cost, web based installation video site builder script. I know of one script that goes for $47 on Clickbank that is a PC .exe script. The problem with that is, it won’t run on Macs and every time you make a change to the site you have to ftp the files back to the host.
I know of another product that is a web based script similar to mine, that goes for $147. So my script fills a piece of the niche.
I’m thinking about doing this as a WarriorForum WSO. If you don’t know what the Warrior Forum is, you are missing out. It’s the best internet marketing forum on the planet.
So, the feedback I need is – what do you think a fair price would be for the private label rights to the VideoClipMiniSites Video Site Builder?
I need this information based on limiting the offer to 50 copies, and limiting the offer to 100 copies.
To leave feedback, simply comment on this post and I’ll give you a dofollow blog link back to your website.
Thanks,
Mike

I’m thinking something in the region of from $200 to $500. You might like to take a look a the sitepoint forums where there are some quite active script sales -
Great information… Spend good time to read your article.
Good luck with selling your product!
I think ypu’ll do great things with your idea. Don’t give up!

Thanks for great idea, I’m sure that will be successful.
Good luck with your product;)
Wow – that looks like a great product and being able to get it a ready built product and re-brand it looks like a winner to me.
Not sure about the price, but I think it should be dependent on how many you are willing to sell. The fewer, the higher the price since fewer people will have it.
I’ll be interested to know what you decide since I may want to purchase it
James’s last blog post..Are there any other easy ways to sell things on the internet besides eBay?
Have you decided yet how much you are going to sell it? I think the $300 price would be good if I’m the buyer and I can sell it to others. But $300 might be too low for you as the seller. So, maybe you can push it up to $400 if you are going to sell 50 copies. $20K is not bad right?
Good luck with your product;)
Great man! It was great demo.
Seems like a good product but it seems to me that there is still a lot of tweaking to do for the buyer. But since there are a number of tools included, this might be a good buy after all.
You can make more money if you simply sell the product as is rather than selling PLR. It will degrade the product. Just find someone who can write you a good sales copy and you’re ready to go.

Great demo!
I would say $75 to $120 would be fair – considereing the advantages over the .exe competitor, and availability of the similar web-based script. Hope this helps!

Because you have more freedom with private label rights, these types of products generally cost more to purchase the rights for. Some products even have two options when you purchase them: resell rights or private label rights. In fact, you can use your private label rights products and sell the resell rights to others, after you have changed the product and put your name on it.
Sometimes PLR has a bad stigma attached to it. It’s not unusual for someone to think of a PLR site as a bundle of crap content for Adsense sites. After looking through a good number of the articles, I can honestly say that the content on PLR
If you’re running a niche blog, having no content can be detrimental to your bottom line. Private label rights articles can be a source of much needed inspiration and save you some t
It sounds like a great idea and very useful for someone who’d like to start a simple web design business. I think a $90 – $110 price range would be fair and it would allow you to stay competitively priced in the market.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog it has a good content. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
Me too! I was to read and see the demo of this product.
Thanks
My only trouble is the work to make each one unique, and then create a site, and then market the site. Once it’s going though, one site easily covers the investment cost.
Don’t make the mistake of tying to build an all inclusive YouTube clone video site, you will never be able to realistically compete with huge corporate backed entities like YouTube!
Well this one is sounding really interesting and I want to know whether this will be beneficial for my business or not.
If you say yes this can be beneficial than please let me know how. If I found it beneficial than certainly we would like to try it.
It’s a great idea and an interesting one. Great article

I think its a good idea to make money with your product. As long as you maintain it good I think you will not lose customers/buyers
WOW this would be a great idea for product promotions. I like the idea that you would have complete PLR rights, meaning you could do anything you wanted with the script, except sell the PLR to the script yourself. I wish you all success in everything you do!
Maybe you could sell it for a 1000 or so. It might be more the domainname market seems to be doing well.
I use clipshare and several of the free scripts. The free scripts charge for add ons, which can add up if you go overboard.

You may want to consider branding your private label rights product if you really want to stand out.
Branding is a way of making the product your own with you as the ‘Big Kahuna’ or author if you will.
