From a user point of view these video annotations are just irritating. Is it possible to just switch them off automatically?

When I start up a blog, I put some content on it, then annotate like 5 youtube videos with a link back to my site. I can get some pretty steady traffic that way. You should try it.

This is a very cool feature. I wouldn't use it as I feel it hinders the beauty and flow of the video.

I have made a couple of videos using annotations, and it actually is fun to use.

The video annotations save me a lot of time. usually i would have to manually add them through windows movie maker and it would take up to 30 minutes per single annotation. The youtube video annotation takes me around 30 seconds.

I think this has been used pretty poorly or overused a lot thus far. i think its a nice tool, I just hope in the long run and on the more professional channels that the novelty wears off and people use it more sparingly.

I observed that you can put link some days ago but I don't see it like a good way to promote your sites. And will appear more spamers ( meaning crap description for videos, just to be there).
